Voiceriver will be a participating vendor at the NENA ICE 8 event being planned for the fall of 2013.  This event will allow vendors of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) call processing elements to test logging, recording and retrieval interfaces while processing calls from origination to termination with different media types.  This will be a unique opportunity for NG9-1-1 vendors to process multimedia calls end-to-end while their events and media are being logged and recorded, providing the most comprehensive NG9-1-1 test opportunity yet.

NENA, which is the 9-1-1 Association, hosted the 5th Industry Collaboration Event, or "ICE 5", on the week of October 15, 2012.  The focus of this event was emergency services solutions that directly support access to the Next Generation 9-1-1 (aka NG9-1-1) system.  The event provided vendors the opportunity for end-to-end testing of new and developing technologies that will provide the widest possible access to emergency services for all individuals, including those with disabilities (e.g. deaf, hard-of-hearing, speech-impaired, etc.).  Voiceriver attracted a lot of attention as a participant demonstrating the functionality of the Voiceriver TTY / Text Gateway.
